What is the Law on Personal Data Protection?
Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
The law on the protection of these data processed in various methods and processes was formalized with the Law No. 6698, which entered into force on April 7, 2016.
The purpose of the Personal Data Protection Law is to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, especially the right to privacy, and to regulate the obligations of natural and legal persons who process personal data and the procedures and principles to be followed.
The Company prioritizes the processing of personal data belonging to employees, employee candidates, shareholders, service providers, visitors and other third parties in accordance with the Turkish Constitution, international conventions, the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”) and other relevant legislation and ensuring that the relevant persons effectively exercise their rights.
The works and transactions regarding the storage and destruction of personal data are carried out in accordance with the Policy prepared by SOMA GLOBAL in this direction.
